We observed, it could be the beginning of a
new trend in the niche and the price is not so bad for 5Ls in the average of
$350.
The most costly name
sold in the week was caps.co.uk sold for $18, 237, followed by
expand.io sold for $5,250 and thirdly was over.io also sold for
$5,000 only. The three domains were sold at different marketplaces; the
Caps.co.uk sold at sedo.com, expand.io sold at park.io while over.io was sold
at flippa.com
There were 133 ccTLD names sold during
the week in review. With this report 4.cn marketplace proved to be the
best for ccTLD sales, though, the marketplace is a Chinese market and the .cn is
waxing strong in the week. We shall be on lookout if the trend will continue on
that same direction, so that investors can join the trend in a good time as
early as possible.
Park.io is still making wave at
selling .io extension, they sold 17 domains in the week under review. Godaddy
also sold 13 .co domains whilst, there was no much sales from sedo in the week,
but with only 3 .de and few .co.uk domains.
There were only 5 hacked domains in the week. Domains are – former.ly,
swap.ly, expensive.ly, tender.ly, the fifth one is not sexy to me
- auctions.ly. All of the hacked domains were made by .ly. But the most
liked hacked are - former.ly and tender.ly in my opinion.
Digital-gipfel.de was the only sold hyphenated domain in
the week.
However, we hope to see thing in a more bullish trend in the
following weeks ahead.
